The McMOUNT Foundation, Inc. (McFDN) is an enterprise for profit organization that serves as the socio-cultural development arm of the McMOUNT Subsidiary Companies (MSC). Through various social development and cultural programs, the Foundation works to fulfill the needs of the whole person, firmly believing in the human being as less of an object of charity than a cause for celebration.

The Foundation was established by Mr. & Mrs. Manuel Cervantes Adiova and Hernancia Vargas - Adiova y Nacario and his son John Vargas - Adiova in 2000 but officially registered in 2007 for many years of supporting charity events, projects and lead partner organization in implementing service for Special Children and the course of serving less privilege in life, but it roots of aiding people and community traced back to its original family  visionary philanthropist  Mssr. Felix Bernales Vargas (+) who serve a Teniente Del Barrio or Barangay Captain of Antipolo, Iriga City, Camarines Sur, Bicol during the President Marcos Era.



The primary objective was dedicated to technical and vocational education, social science and research, livelihood and the arts. Then it was amended to renew the commitment and support of the McMount Subsidiary Companies (MSC) through its divisions for the benefit of the Filipino People and Nation Building through holistic response to the complex needs of the Filipinos.

Today, the McMOUNT Foundation together with European Economic Development Council (EEDC), World Bank, and International Monetary Fund (IMF) is working hand-in-hand to extend the benefits of recent technological developments to a greater number of men, women and children. Through these new technologies, the Foundation continues to work for the cultivation of Filipino ingenuity and talent, as well as the preservation of our rich culture, history and traditions.

The Foundation strictly implement the Vision, Dream, and Letter Of Instruction (LOI) of a great man and President of the Republic of the Philippines is for a Progressive Philippines, and his desire to promote success in order to achieve peace, progress, and prosperity in this island known as the PEARL OF THE ORIENT SEAS so that this Nation will be Great Again!

Foundation's Purpose and Modus Operandi

The operation will develop/design project and submit to various identified donors, whether foreign or local for financial and technical assistance. The same project will be coordinated with concerned government and/or private agencies for implementation and collaboration.

  1. To develop and establish a community for the purpose of alleviating the life of street children, senior citizens, women, out of school youth, special children, and person with disabilities by providing housing, health centers, schools, recreational center, churches, home for the aged, hospital and livelihood;
  2. To develop infrastructure projects such as Schools, Hospitals, Markets, Roads (National {4 lanes to urban cities} and Barangays {concrete farm to market}), Sea Ports, Advanced Railways, Electrification, Agricultural Development (Irrigation System, Food Production, and Technology Transfer Program), Environmental  Rehabilitation (Reforestation, Water Conservation, and Forest Reservation), and Technology Enhancement Program, covered by (LOI) Letter OF Instruction thereof;
  3. To help the Government in Agri-Industrial programs by sponsoring Agricultural projects and small to medium industries in the country-side;
  4. To provide Training Programs on Entrepreneurship and Cooperative Business to assist in their pursuit to livelihood awareness;
  5. To provide research fund and facility for Alternative Healing, Medicine, Tropical Plants, and Technology Development for the benefits of the Filipino People;
  6. To develop the capability of an individual, family and community to contribute their own resources towards poverty alleviation;
  7. To assist the industry sector by developing suitable manpower to their companies and help sustain the demographic requirements of the Philippine Industry;
  8. To organize Corps of Volunteers and Trainor’s for the purpose of fruitful collaboration in the fulfillment of training objectives and implementation of the foundations’ projects.
  9. To acquire properties, real or personal; to accept gifts, donations, contributions, endorsements, grants, bonds, bequests, and devices of any and all kinds of real or personal properties necessary, desirable and proper for the attainment of corporate objective; to acquire or administer properties, real or personal, given or bequest to it for the purpose specified therein; to engage the services of firms or persons as the foundation may desire or need from time to time in order to carry out its purpose and objectives;
  10. To enter into contracts, agreements, covenants, and partnership to any partly personal or judicial in connection with the fulfillment of its corporate goals;
  11. To hold, buy, sell, borrow, exchange, hire or lease and to mortgage or otherwise encumber, any properties in such undertakings and purpose such activities as may be advantageous or necessary to carry out the purposes and objectives of the foundation; 
  12. To do such thing and everything necessary, suitable and proper for the attainment of nay or call of the objectives herein enumerated, and to exercise and posses all power, rights and privileges necessary or incidental to the purpose for which the foundation is organized or to the activities in which it is engaged;
  13. To support and fund the Filipino Investors; Provide Scholarship Grants;
  14. To build new spirit of dynamic Nationalism that will animates from the New Society, for peace, development, and prosperity of all Filipinos;
  15. To support the Government Agencies to augment the Development Programs of the Government in order to effect the desired changes and reforms in the Social, Economic, and Political structures of the country, which intended for National Development especially in the countryside for the benefit of the Filipino masses;
  16. To facilitate the implementation of the program of reforms in the government and to speed up the current intensified efforts for social programs, broadening of social services to the people, productive life and for equal share in benefits of progress;
